Like its predecessors, the 2024 Traverse is great for suburban driving and is quite spacious for a mid-size SUV. The lineup for the new model year includes a more rugged appearance and the power of a turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The Z71 model features a slightly lifted suspension, twin-clutch all-wheel drive, all-terrain tires, and distinctive 18-inch wheels. 2024 Chevy Traverse

The 2024 Chevy Traverse for sale at Mike Anderson Chicago is available in four distinct trims. The LT adds second-row captain’s chairs, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, wireless smartphone charging, a power rear liftgate, and roof rails for additional cargo. Opting for the LT also enables the addition of optional features such as a sunroof and GM’s Super Cruise hands-free driving feature.

Engine and Performance

Under the hood, every Traverse model is powered by a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is optional, with front-wheel drive being standard. With the optional towing package, the Traverse can tow up to 5000 pounds. The Z71 trim offers enhanced capability off-road, featuring a twin-clutch all-wheel-drive system, different suspension damping, all-terrain tires, and terrain-specific driving modes.

While fuel economy estimates for the 2024 Traverse are not yet available from the EPA, improvements over its V-6 predecessor are anticipated. Interior space is abundant, especially beneficial for larger families, with the base LS trim seating eight and other trims accommodating seven with second-row captain’s chairs. Cargo capacity is impressive, with over 97 cubic feet of space with all seats folded down.

Interior and Tech Features

The 2024 Chevy Traverse interior Standard infotainment features include a massive 17.7-inch touchscreen and an 11.0-inch digital gauge display, both utilizing Chevrolet’s latest Google-based software interface.
